15 Years of InterDC!

Wed, 20 May 2026 09:00:00 +0200

Today marks InterDC’s 15th anniversary! And of course, we’re celebrating with a delicious piece of cake.

In 2011, we started with a single location in Enschede to make rack space more accessible in the region. Since then, we have grown into the largest 100% Dutch data center provider in the eastern Netherlands, with four locations across the Twente and Achterhoek regions.

With this wonderful milestone, we celebrate the connection between people, organizations, and networks. For 15 years, we have been building reliable, secure, and future-proof IT infrastructure together for organizations in the Netherlands and Belgium. In doing so, we help ensure digital independence and sovereignty in the region.

Together, we achieve more!

DCSpine & Eurofiber cloud present in our datacenter

Mon, 17 Mar 2025 09:00:00 +0200

InterDC proudly welcomes Eurofiber Cloud Infra and its DCspine network as the latest connectivity provider within its datacenters. This software-defined connectivity platform operates on Eurofiber’s extensive fiber optic network, linking nearly a hundred datacenters across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. As a result, businesses can seamlessly and in real time connect datacenters with each other as well as with public and private cloud environments.

With four datacenters located in Enschede, Doetinchem, and Hengelo, InterDC is a leading player in the eastern Netherlands. Known for its technical innovation and customer-focused approach, InterDC offers tailor-made solutions and complete freedom of choice in connectivity and internet services. The integration with DCspine strengthens its infrastructure, providing greater flexibility for secure and scalable connections.

"Hardly any organization relies on just one datacenter location anymore. It has become standard practice to distribute services across multiple datacenters, including for backup purposes," says Roland Kamphuis, CEO of InterDC. "With DCspine, we can offer our customers a direct connection to other datacenters and a redundant link to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX), which we can also utilize for load balancing. This ensures that businesses remain continuously connected to key internet and cloud providers."

"The expansion into the eastern Netherlands marks an important milestone in DCspine’s development," says Eddy de Bruin, Senior Account and Partner Manager at Eurofiber Cloud Infra. "With InterDC, we are unlocking a strategic datacenter location and enhancing regional connectivity. Additionally, DCspine not only provides InterDC customers with point-to-point connections but also offers internet services, giving them maximum flexibility."
